How can I effectively remove a water stain from my ceiling?

Water from bathroom above the living look leaked on to my living room below creating a water stain on the drywall seam of the popcorn ceiling. The leak has since been fixed and I sprayed two layers of Kilz Upshot on the stain, which is around 1" wide by around 3' long. Subsequently, I rolled on two coats of white latex on the whole ceiling. The stain is now not visible in daylight if you stand underneath it. However, at an angle during daytime a light shadow is visible. At night, when the floor lamp is on, you can clearly see the area where the kilz was sprayed. An associate at a home improvement store has suggested I use a Behr sealer again on this area only and then apply another coat of latex on the affected area. Will this work ? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Last year I started a cookery course and straight after that, I started getting sort of hard skin and bit of tears (not cuts while cooking) in my thumb and indexing finger of my right hand. after using so many creams, bandages etc, the problem goes and comes back again. been more than one year. doctor says it would never go away. it will keep coming back. finger/s start looking better and than there is sort of inflammation followed by a very very small tear and it hurts. could somebody kindly assist me about what is this? why is this? Basically when I try to turn Rio left he won't turn unless I really pull him to the left. He isn't doing this so much when I want him to go right, it's just left. Can the police enter your garage area if its an open garage without walls?

My garage in front of my house is an open port where only two cars can sit. There are four podiums or poles that support the roof from the main house. We ushally drink in the garage and play non loud music. Usually when we get complaints, the 5-0s usually tell us to take it inside or outback. But just recently there was a complaint early in the morning when it was daylight and the police came into our garage area harassing us. Why are fleas crawling on me but not my pets?

So we did a rampant treatment for fleas in my place, and got rid of what I thought to be all of them. The cats have super flea meds on them. I know that there may still be eggs in places the cats go but I cannot reach. However, I found a flea crawling through my hair today. When I crunched it with my fingers, it had blood in it. Is this thing feasting off me now? My cats haven't been scratching, and I comb them with a lice comb (for heavier combing, doesn't miss things like a flea comb) to find nothing. I don't think they are biting me, because they used to bite me around the ankles and I don't feel as though they have in my hair. Any ideas? The only reason I knew there was one there to begin with is because I felt something crawling up my neck and insta-nabbed it.

In the first chapter of my story, it ends at night. I mentioned it was getting dark when she was walking home and a little later she's outside at a festival where there are hanging lanterns all around to light the town square. My Thumb Is Twitching On and Off For the Past Few Days?

Small swollen bump under the skin on my palm?

My wife has had this bump 'in' her hand for the past 2 months almost. We have tried popping it, and nothing comes out but clear liquid sometimes. It is located in the general area between her index finger and thumb on her palm. It started out small and progressively got worse, it was very tender and painful for her to touch it or to use anything with that hand. Just from observation it looked as if it was swelling like there was a splinter in her hand and it was just getting infected, BUT it had since disappeared (swelling and redness gone away), and returned 2 other times. Each time it turns the area red-ish and bruised looking very bad. I work at an ice cream store in and I was the one that trained her it was just me and her working that day and we got talking about a lot of things like our favourite music which we both have in common and then we joked around a bit and that’s when I found out she had a boyfriend. The day was made even better when we were closing down and she said thank you for today. I have trained a few girls one being her cousin and not once has anyone said that. Getting my 2 1/2 year old to stay in bed? Help!!!?

My son has been in a toddler bed since he was about 26 months because we were potty training him and he did fine with the transition but we couldnt get him to stay in bed. I read that maybe he was scared so I did someones suggestion to lay outside his door on the door so he could see me. I have done that since 26 months and it has always worked. He is now 32 months. At 26 months we started out with our legs in the door...then we started out moving to where we were in the hall then we moved to where we were in the hall but he could only see our legs. I was able to lay down and cover up so he saw me then id slide out and he wouldnt know since he could usually only see my legs. He use to go to bed at 8pm but during daylight savings time in april I had to move it to 9pm which i didnt really like. But he wont stay in bed or go to sleep even while we are on the floor. Im going to try an 8:30pm bedtime to see if maybe he is just over tired but idk. I am pregnant and the baby is due mid july. id really like to not have to stay on the floor every night if i can help it. I will not close him in his room so please dont tell me to do that. Also the past 3 nights is when he first started not going to sleep right away when i lay on the floor. So its new for us. He will lay down then call for us and get upset if we dont answer. Is there a screen a 150 watt bulb wouldnt melt?

I got the zilla deluxe kit for my new bearded dragon. it had the cage and lights and ect. one of the lights was a daylight bulb 150 watt and there was a mesh sliding screen to the cage. well yeah, even thought the lights came with no clamp and the lights came with the screen, yes it melted it. im never buying zilla agin, but anyways is there a screen a 150 watt bulb wouldnt melt?????????

Hi,iam 22 yrs male suffering from telogen effluvium please help.?

it has been past some months around last year november2010 i felt my scalp hair hair thinning.i usually had hair fall in excess about more than 100 strands a day but that never affected my hair volume but now its june and my scalp is quite visible in the daylight.i shaved my head in april but after 2 months hence then many hairs are still in rudimentary stage and they are not growing whatever supplements both topical or iron vitamin tablets i took.by the way theres no hair line recession and it shows symptoms of telogen efluvium doctors are no worth here as they "cant say anything" .please do say if those rudimentary hairs would grow to normal size and how.

My thumbs get swollen every time i touch something cold... is this normal?

when i hold something cold all my fingers swell up and become very fat. It does feel great because i cant really move them and they are rock solid. The swelling stays for about 20-30 minutes. I have gotten told that maybe i have a circulation problem in my hands but that was by a family member. Injured thumb pain relief?

Yesterday my thumb got stuck at a door knob space, and it pulled away some skin. I was bleeding much, and I was able to control it after applying pressure and some anti-hemorrhagic (stop bleeding) powder. Now I am just using some antibiotic cream to cover the wound. I have a lot of pain in my thumb, affecting also the rest of my hand. Is this normal? What are some home remedies for pain relief? Can I use ice to soothe my finger?

If you want to cure him quickly and permanently go to Dr Fosters.com and buy a remote control shock collar. You can put the shock on different levels so there is no need to worry about hurting him on a low level, it will just startle him... this way you will not be connected to the punishment such as wacking the counter, or throwing a can with pennies (he will only sneak and do it when you are not around) a prong collar is not a nice thing.. to jerk him down with the prongs around his neck .. uh that is just not a good solution. You only need to be within range with the remote when he jumps on the counter or anything else and you give the command down or whatever you use.. if he does not respond immediately, you can push the button for a short slight shock that will surprise him and he will respond. I have a shock collar for training and yes, i have put it on my own leg to test the shock levels before using on my dog... the low level is enough to just surprise them and they will respond. Make sure you wear the collar on them for several days before you turn it on because you dont want them to figure out that when they dont have the collar on they cant be buzzed... they are pretty smart that way! lol Good luck and although shock collars get a bad rap they are very useful when used correctly and make sure you buy one that you can control the level of intensity.

You need to find a wildlife rehabber in your area. Do a quick internet search and find one nearby. Most wildlife rehab centers have arrangements with vet clinics to take in wild animals, treat them till the morning, and turn them over to the rehab center when it opens. If there is an emergency vet clinic near you call them and ask for their advice. As for the one in the tree, leave it alone for now. Chances are it will come down at some point during the night. Raccoons, even babies, are natural climbers and chances are it's scared more then anything right now. If it's still there in the morning, you'll need to call animal control and they should be able to remove it. Leaving it in the tree overnight is not going to hurt it.

What's wrong with my bones?

For several months my thumb would hurt for a couple days every month or so. It felt like it was sprained or broken. It would go away... and come back a couple weeks or months later. My thumbs don't hurt much anymore, but now it's my wrists. Both of them have been hurting but not always at the same time. It also feels like they're sprained, but sometimes its less pain than usual. A couple days ago my ankle started to feel this way, but didn't hurt too bad. And my knee, but just for a day or so. Could it be that I need more calcium? I have no clue. Thanks.

yes im not really sure with specific places but i know that im in the uk near london and todayis thelongest day and the sun rise is at 4.42am and sets at 9.24pm while up noth in the north west of scotland the sunrise is at 4.19am but sets at 10.34! this is because they are further north and west as us and this is why the north pole in the summer has 24hours of daylight and it doesnt get dark till winter but then they have 24hours of NO sunlight! so the closer you are to the north pole in the mid summer the more daylight youll recieve! :P

Should I get a tattoo or a piercing?

Personally, I would suggest getting a piercing, and I say this because I started out with a piercing first and if I felt the need to take it out I could easily replace it with a clear retainer. Unlike a tattoo, you of course cannot do this if you regret it unless you're willing to pay $100-$1,000 for removal. I had a lip piercing once, snakebites actually, and didn't like it much because I had too much attention drew to me, but at least I could take it out. BUT, the hole didn't close up completely, so now I'm stuck with a permanent hole in my lip. The only reason I don't suggest the tattoo is because of the pain. I have a foot tattoo, and the pain was excruciating, but it sounds like the better option IF you don't want a hole stuck in your lip forever. Both of them have their consequences, so at the end of the day, it's your ultimate decision.

I wasn't around my father as a kid much, and the little I did see of him made me wish I didn't see so much as that. People makes mistakes, but he different, he was cruel for no reason. I never heard anything close to a compliment my entire childhood. But he made sure he didn't forget to mention things to tear me down, hollering at me, profanities and letting me know how fat and pathetic I was, threatening to beat the living daylights out of me- the only reason he was unsucessful in that is because my mother protected me, and I watched him mistreat her too. He mainly had a lot of hatred of her and wishto bring her down I think why he took his anger out on his children. How am I going to care about somebody like this? He never did anything to help us my whole childhood. I was being treated for depression and anxiety as a child and he still treated me the same crummy way. He makes a big deal about how noble he was in sending us money every month after the divorce- but it was being drafted out of his account by the courts! And he didn't even want that, he begged and tried to fight it tooth and nail. I don't see how he's fulfilled his role as a father to me. Now as he's older and I'm a grown woman he wants to see me. I've seen him several times, this is just about getting someone to take care of him, he's driven off all of his other children and wives (he has many from different marriages.) and is lonely. If he had offered one teeny, little apology or even not, but tried to behave humbly and with patience, give me time, then I might have given him a chance, but he doesn't- his attitude is one of entitlement, shouting demands at me and blaming me and my mother for everything. Not to mention he goes around telling everyone these fantastical lies about me and her, denying his abuse. I don't care about that, I've just had it up to here... he just makes my life hard. Father's Day's just about here so i can't help but think about my own, usually I get depressed. I'm ready to stop seeing him, and I haven't been really, but I think tomorrow is a kind of point of no return if I don't go to him. I feel guilty and stressed out, but I've been letting my head rule my heart and I don't see how this is a healthy relationship. I know what love is- that is how I know that is not what I am getting from him, I have other people who care about me, other family and friends so I'll be alright. I feel disllusioned and depressed?

Last term I went walking with my friend at around 11:00 or 12:00 at night we went to buy sodas at home and then were cming back home as we walked past my school. As we passed it there were teenagers trespassing on it and were at the sports hall hving drinkups and blasting music from its speakers. We decided to check it out and while in there, my friend asked 2 guys for weed. they either said they didnt have any or didnt reply. we left the rec hall wandered up to our classrooms and then went back down to the rec hall which was near the field. as we were leaving the hall and getting onto the field, a tall, plump guy 18yold walked up to us with a group of party goers and angry looking teen boys he asked us wethere we knew kristy or something? confused my friend said he didnt knw and the guy punched him in the face. after that my friend shat his pants lterally and i tried to get in front to stop the guy from continuing to punch him, as I did someone punched me in the back. I ignored cos i didnt one to start a fight as I was outnumbered so then when tried to stop, the big guy he punched me in the face. thats when me and my crap dripping friend tried running away. the teens and big guy ripped our valuables off us as we tried to get away and then tackled my mate to the ground, i tripped and fell grazing myself very badly. the big guy and his gang procedded to kick the living daylights out of my friend on the ground while I could do nothing but watch as the guys did not touch me. I moved closer trying to tell them to stop while my mate kept cringing on the ground as they put fists and legs into him. One of them punched me in the head again. I realised i could do nothing so I ran off to the police beat which was only a block away. I didnt knw how to contact the cops however as u had to pick up a payphone or something. I then went to a nearby house and told them to call the police. they promised they would and i was left standing outside their door alone. I did not want to run back up there to my friend as I knew they would be bashing the daylights out of him and I was scared, ok. Then a bystander who was at the illegal party called out from the street and said he had my mates phone and that my mate ran off. I walked with him back up there, he gave me the phone and I saw my mate bleeding and walking up a different way. I went to him and saw he had lost his bag and hes face was worse then mine. he had a bleeding nose, badly grazed and bleeding arms from when they dragged him and a cut eye. We had to get away before those people saw us together so thanking the bystander we ran away from that area and hid at a randoms house until the ambs and police came to get us. as we drove off in the ambs i could here them laughing and talking to themselves. those bastards. My question is this,,, I know I shouldnt have been walking at night there but if I had, what could I have done to prevent them stealing from us and bashing us up? I feel depressed because I was so vulnerable and I feel guilty that I ran away and my mate got bashed more while I only had knee grazes and a bloody nose. Numb Thumb - Nerve Damage?

The pad and side of my thumb has been numb for about 10 hours now, ever since I shut a door, putting a lot of pressure on the handle on the area where my thumb meets my palm. Banjo Kazooie; nuts and bolts not working?

Awhile ago, a friend gave me the platinum edition of Banjo kazooie NaB. After finally getting an xbox and playing most of the game, i cant seem to be able to play the terrarium of terror level. Guilt of Coming Out Of The Closet?

I'm currently in the closet about my sexuality but not for the reason you think. I'm bisexual and have known this ever since I was six I probably Like Boys 60% girls 40%. I want to be outgoing so badly you don't even understand. I am not exactly shy when I'm talking to someone one-on-one, I'll have a good conversation with them and usually talk a lot. But when it comes to being in a small group of people around 5-10, or a classroom, and anything larger, I literally have a fear of these kind of social situations. I'd say the piercing. Piercings give you more option to play around with what style you want to put on while tattoos are permanent and hurt like hell to get, not to mention it's more expensive. if you move files around alot it can leave fragments behind, eventually there will be so many fragments the you need to fragment your computer, i would recommend installing Diskeeper (free edition would do the job) and setting up a monthly defrag (even if your system is not in a state where it needs fragmenting its still a good idea to keep it clean).

Here's my situation. I usually get my period June 10th. However, I had sex June 3rd. It was protected, but there was an accident. The condom broke. We noticed it right away, but timing never makes a difference with these things. Now, I am the type to worry about everything, so of course, the whole 7 days after, I was freaking out. On the 10th, I did not get my period...or the 11th...or the 12th...or the 13th...I grew worried throughout those days. However, on the 14th, I finally gave up and assumed I was pregnant. Then, I got my period. Now, I believe it was my period because it filled up pads for the first 3 days then slowed down the last two (like always, 5 days). I stopped worry for a little while. Then I started googling information to calm myself down and be prepared in case of another scare. Of course, this did not help me. I learned about implantation bleeding and I grew worried again. As I said, the bleeding filled up the pads and it was red all the way through. Not pinkish or brown. So again, I calmed down for a few days. Then 2 weeks after I began having discharge. Again, I began to worry. I am aware that you have frequent discharge during pregnancy. I did some more googling and calculating and came to the conclusion that I was just ovulating. I know you can't ovulate while you're pregnant. My discharge is clear, sticky, and has the "egg white" texture. I was able to stretch it out between my thumb and pointer finger. As you can see, I worry a lot. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I plan on taking another one soon, but in the mean time, am I just stressing myself out too much? Was that my actual period? Help me out. :l I'm quite the worrier as you can see.

For hunting, I have loaded the NBT in .243, .308, .30-06 and all will kill deer and are fine for accuracy. I have loaded NBT in .223 and they are pretty accurate too. My son and I load the 168 gr Nosler Custom Competition bullets for his .308 and they perform quite well on targets with BL-C(2) powder. I load Nosler bullets exclusively for long guns. We are going to try loading some 165 gr NBT for his .308 for deer hunting to see if we can get the trajectory close to the 168 gr CC bullets.

Getting my 2 1/2 year old to stay in bed? Help!!!?

My son has been in a toddler bed since he was about 26 months because we were potty training him and he did fine with the transition but we couldnt get him to stay in bed. I read that maybe he was scared so I did someones suggestion to lay outside his door on the door so he could see me. I have done that since 26 months and it has always worked. He is now 32 months. At 26 months we started out with our legs in the door...then we started out moving to where we were in the hall then we moved to where we were in the hall but he could only see our legs. I was able to lay down and cover up so he saw me then id slide out and he wouldnt know since he could usually only see my legs. He use to go to bed at 8pm but during daylight savings time in april I had to move it to 9pm which i didnt really like. But he wont stay in bed or go to sleep even while we are on the floor. Im going to try an 8:30pm bedtime to see if maybe he is just over tired but idk. I am pregnant and the baby is due mid july. id really like to not have to stay on the floor every night if i can help it. I will not close him in his room so please dont tell me to do that. Also the past 3 nights is when he first started not going to sleep right away when i lay on the floor. So its new for us. He will lay down then call for us and get upset if we dont answer.
