Why is it so hard to get over people, even once it has been proven they were just making a fool out of you?

I am 35, the reason I dated younger women was to show my friends I still had it. Dont let someone treat you like crap. You are in the years of your life where you have to start thinking about your futur. Go out and have fun. Hang out with friends or girl friends. stay away from this douche bag.
