Is a yellow pusy discharge normal for a burn wound?

I burnt my thumb bad and it blistered alot so I went to doctor he drained the blister and cut away the dead skin and gave me silvadene I've kept it covered 24/7 with silvadene change the gauze 2x a day but recently there's been alot of discharge is that good or bad?
